Our technical approach, stated plainly
If you're assessing Central West Precast as a possible future supplier, you need a straight answer on site status, quality approach and intended capacity — not brochure language. Here it is.
Regional facility — concept and planning stage
We are planning a regional manufacturing site in Central West NSW. No site is secured or operational yet. Once a location is confirmed, intended production capacity would be sized around pilot and field trial volumes first, with scale-up considered only after product performance is validated. We won't describe a facility as operational before it is.
Working toward formal quality management, not claiming it yet
Design & standards
Product design is intended to be guided by relevant Australian Standards, project specifications and network operator requirements from the outset, with independent testing where required. See our standards and testing pathway →
Quality management
We intend to build quality processes toward a formal, auditable standard (such as an ISO 9001-aligned quality management system) if and when manufacturing proceeds. We do not currently hold formal quality certification, and we won't say otherwise.
Regional by design, not yet in operation
Our intent is to source materials and inputs regionally where practical, and to serve Central West NSW and neighbouring regions directly from a future regional site — reducing haulage distance compared with metropolitan supply. No supply chain or logistics arrangement currently exists; specific delivery radius and lead times would only be confirmed once a site and manufacturing partners are in place.
No current capacity — pilot-scale is the intended starting point
Central West Precast has no manufacturing capacity today. Any future production capacity would be sized for field trial and co-development volumes first, not full commercial-scale supply. If your organisation would eventually need volume commitments or firm lead times, tell us — that's exactly the conversation a co-development or supply discussion should cover, rather than a number we quote generically on this page.
